Butt Augmentation and Butt Lift
A butt lift is a surgery that reshapes a sagging and shrunken buttock. You can choose between two types of butt lift procedures, one that adds volume or one that removes excess tissue and skin. In butt augmentation, we can achieve an aesthetic increase in volume in your buttocks with fat tissue taken from areas such as the abdomen and waist through liposuction or with butt implants.
What is Butt Augmentation?
The goal of butt augmentation is to increase the size and shape of the buttocks. Butt augmentation can be performed with butt implants, fat injections, or a combination of both methods. When performed through fat transfer, we refer to it as a “Brazilian Butt Lift.”
What is a Brazilian Butt Lift?
In a Brazilian Butt Lift, volume is added to the buttocks through fat transfer to achieve a rounder and more shaped appearance. The procedure involves removing fat from other parts of the body (such as the abdomen, back, hips, and thighs) through liposuction. This not only increases the size of your buttocks but also slims the areas from which fat is removed.
Brazilian Butt Lift Procedure
The Brazilian Butt Lift procedure is performed under general anesthesia. Liposuction is then used to obtain fat and enhance the shape of the buttocks. The harvested fat is purified and then injected into the buttocks through small incisions to create the desired shape.

This procedure does not treat sagging or loose skin. For the best results, you should have firm skin in the area.
Who is Suitable for Butt Implants?
Butt implants are the preferred method for patients with flat, broad buttocks who do not have enough fat tissue in their body for butt augmentation and shaping. A fuller buttock can be achieved by combining implants with fat injections. Implants can also be used for patients who want a butt lift.
Butt Implant Surgery Procedure
Butt implants are made of a material similar to breast implants but are firmer and more durable in structure. The surgery takes about 2 hours and is performed under general anesthesia. An incision is made in the crease between the buttocks, and the implant is placed under, within, or above the muscle, depending on the appropriate level.
What is a Butt Lift?
The buttock area loses its elasticity and fullness with age. In addition to aging, significant weight loss can also lead to a sagging buttock. A traditional butt lift involves removing excess skin and fat from the buttocks to create a firmer butt. For buttocks that have lost volume in addition to sagging, the tissue planned for removal can be shaped and used for butt augmentation. In a traditional butt lift, it can be combined with other body contouring procedures, such as a tummy tuck, liposuction, or lower body lift, for more comprehensive results.
Butt Lift Procedure
The operation will be performed under general anesthesia. Depending on your anatomy and desired outcome, an incision will be made just below your waist or under your buttocks. Unwanted skin and tissue will be removed through these incisions, and the skin will be repositioned to create smoother, firmer buttocks.
In buttocks with volume loss in addition to sagging, the tissue planned for removal can be used or a butt implant can be added to achieve the desired shape.

Weight fluctuations, aging, and pregnancy can cause a loss of skin elasticity or fat deposits in the buttock area. A traditional butt lift can:

Butt Aesthetic Recovery Process
You will usually be discharged the day after your surgery. You must have someone with you to assist. Dressings will be applied to the incision lines, and you will need to wear a special compression garment around the treated area. A specific treatment plan for your incisions will be explained to you when you are discharged from the hospital.
Swelling and tenderness are expected during the first two weeks after surgery. As you heal, these symptoms will decrease, and you will see immediate visible results. There will be some restrictions on physical activities. We will monitor your healing process through follow-up appointments and gradually lift these activity restrictions as you recover. Final results will be seen in approximately six months, and your scars will become barely noticeable within a year.
